Students at SHS took a break from their regular schedules this morning to focus on their futures during the school's annual College & Career Readiness Day. Seniors who were not pursuing college visits or job shadowing experiences on their own were able to explore their next steps by touring Kutztown, RACC, Millersville, and Alvernia—or staying on campus to sharpen their interviewing and budgeting skills in small, hands-on workshops.

While sophomores and juniors took the PSAT, freshmen met with counselors, explored Naviance, and wrote letters to their future 12th grade selves—setting goals for the years ahead. The morning wrapped up on a lighter note with lawn games in the stadium and visits from therapy dogs—a fitting finish to a morning spent dreaming and preparing for their bright futures ahead.
