Graduation Practice

 

There are three days of preparation and activities for graduation for the Class of 2026. All practices are mandatory for the members of the class who wish to participate in the graduation ceremony. 

 

Tuesday, June 2nd

  • Time and location: 8:30-10:30AM in the high school auditorium. 
  • Enter from the front of the building by the Eagle.
  • Dress: Casual
  • Materials: Bring your Chromebook and charger to be returned
  • Tasks and Activities: 
    • Finalizing Senior slides
    • Explanation of the graduation ceremony, including the procession, seating, and the recession. 
    • Sign up for bus transportation to Wednesday’s practice
    • Instructions about other events, including Baccalaureate
    • Reading of names for the graduation ceremony
    • Chromebook and charger collection
    • Yearbook distribution

 

Wednesday, June 3rd

  • Time and location: 8:30-11:30AM in the high school auditorium, stadium and Grad Walk
  • Dress: Dress for practice is business attire. We will be having our class picture taken. Students will dress the same way for practice as they will for graduation. Please wear business attire, such as dresses, skirts, collared shirts/ties, dress pants. Students should also bring shoes for the Grad Walk. 
  • Tasks and Activities: 
    • Review of the graduation ceremony
    • Instructions about other events
    • Distribution of caps and gowns
    • Class of 2026 panoramic photo
    • The Class of 2026 Grad Walk through the Senior High, Junior High, Reiffton and then board a bus to your elementary school.

 

Thursday, June 4th

  • Time and location: 9AM at Santander Arena (8:45AM arrival)
  • Graduates must be in their seats in the Santander Arena by 9AM. You can transport yourself or sign up for bus transportation from the school. 
  • Dress: Casual
  • Tasks and Activities: 
    • Review of the graduation ceremony
    • Practice for the procession, diploma distribution, and recession in the arena
